Galaxy S25 Ultra — Samsung Official or Whitestone Dome Glass
The Galaxy S25 Ultra at around CA$1,799 is Samsung's flagship and the trickiest Galaxy to protect properly. The display curves gently along the long edges, the under-display fingerprint sensor is acutely sensitive to glass thickness, and the S Pen needs unobstructed contact. Conventional flat tempered glass lifts on the curves within weeks. Cheap unbranded curved-screen glass blocks the fingerprint sensor about one in three reads. Two solutions work.
Samsung's official screen protector is the safest mainstream choice — calibrated to the exact curved geometry, sized for the fingerprint sensor, shipped in Samsung packaging via Amazon.ca and stocked at Best Buy Canada. Around CA$35-40 single-pack. It sits flat eighteen months later and the fingerprint sensor reads first time. Single-pack only — no spare.
Whitestone Dome Glass is the enthusiast's choice. A UV-curing liquid optical adhesive flows under the glass, filling every gap with the curved display, then cures under the included UV lamp in about three minutes. True edge-to-edge bonding no conventional protector matches. The trade-off is one-shot installation — trap dust and you start over with a new kit. For an S25 Ultra at this price, the care pays back. Around CA$50-60.
